CASE STUDYA TYPICAL EXAMPLE OF A CLIENT COMMISSIONING JOINERY FROM MERRIN JOINERY.The client Mr Robinson of Northampton approached us with some rough drawings and photographs to describe the windows he required. This gave enough information for us to provide him with an estimate.
When the client placed his order, Merrin Joinery provided a written Order Acknowledgement, detailing the work that was to be carried out. This included an estimated lead-time - which was be determined by both the manufacturing slots available at that time, and the estimated time required to complete the job.
The client confirmed his order by paying his deposit. It is standard practice within the industry to request deposits, because of the bespoke nature of the work.
Merrin Joinery visited the client’s home to carry out a survey and then manufactured the windows.
Merrin Joinery arranged for the windows to be delivered by courier to the site. The client used his own builder to fit the windows.
The client kindly emailed us photographs of the windows once they had been fitted. He has then come back to us for further work, as his refurbishment project has continued.
